By far the most perfect day in my life, Our proud traditonal ceremony, and hearts joing as one…

The main audotium of The Kendra Hall in Durban. Kumesan and Yugandree exchanged Traditonal vows on the 26 October 2013. The set design was by Koogan and Sabash Pillay and catering by Indian delights.

Where did you first set eyes on him.

 After a few weeks of chatting we arranged a short meeting.

What was your first reaction when you met him.

 All smiles as I waited in anticipation for our first meeting.

 Did you think that you guys would someday marry each other.

 Not initially but as our relationship progressed it was evident that we were meant to be together for the rest of our lives

 Tell us what you love the most about him

I love so many things about him but what stands out is his smile that has the ability to light up a room as well as his big heart and compassion, always willing to help anyone in need.

How did you meet?

We share mutual friends, that’s how he was able to find his way into my heart without any directions.

How long had you been dating

 5 years.

 Where and when did he propose?

 On our 3 year anniversary after our dinner date – quite unexpected, I liked this ring while on holiday in Bangkok the previous year but had no idea that he had bought it so it was quite a surprise.

 When did you get engaged?

 06 August 2011

 What was your first fight about?

 His jealousy.

Where was your first kiss?

The first time he dropped me off at work.

 When did you first know you were in love?

 After 2 months of dating.

 What did your spouse get you for your first Christmas as a couple?

 A GHD hair straightener

 Who said “I love you” first?

 He did.
What did you eat on your first date?

 A Seafood Platter.

 What flavor of cake did you have at your wedding?

 3 tiers were different flavours – red velvet, chocolate and carrot
